The pool is closed for "adult swim" for the last 15 minute of every hour - so ideally we need to get there close to 6. Getting there at 7 and swimming till 7:45 (then going home for showers) put us in danger of having cranky and over tired kiddos. So, getting to the pool after work is a mad dash. Needless to say, after all of this planning we get the boys in their highchairs and watch as they yawn, rub thier eyes, and look as if they might fall asleep right then and there. The clincher was when Traci (our M/W babysitter) said, "Oh, yea..they've really been out of sorts today." No pool for us.
But on a good note, they crashed (and I mean nary a peep) when we put them down at 7:30 (an hour earlier than usual.) Of course Gray was wide awake and joined us in our bed at 9:30....
Here are the boys playing with our friend Suzanne's son Rhyder (9 months.) Of course when I ran to get my camera, all 3 of them were banging away on the table. By the time I got back, Gray decided that he'd had enough and was going to go play with the ball.
