- Grayson weighs 20lbs 13oz and 29 inches
- Carter weighs 25lbs 14oz and 30 1/2 inches
- Both are following their growth pattern perfectly.
- They are exceptionally well tempered. The pediatrician commented how unusual it was for 15 month olds not to cry and scream during an exam. Neither made a peep.
- They have really high pain thresholds. They both got 2 shots and neither cried. Heck, they didn't even whimper. The nurses were amazed. We were thankful.
- Grayson's ears look "fabulous" - he's had a run of ear infections. Hopefully, that run has ended.
- No signs of them getting their 12 month molars. Maybe they'll just have 8 teeth. :)
- The doctor we saw didn't give us crap for having Gray in our bed. She agreed that Crying It Out didn't work for all babies (or moms) and sometimes you just have to "do what you have to do" to get by. That is where we are now.
On another note, we have their Halloween costumes. They are going to be Pooh and Tigger. Can you guess who is going to be who??? Grayson is Tigger and Carter is Pooh. It just fits them so perfectly. The costumes (that I found on E-bay) are sooo cute! We put it on Carter tonight to make sure it fit and he was ADORABLE. Grayson wanted to get in on the action and put it on his head. No pictures since we'll wait to get pictures on Halloween.
We bought a white noise machine that came in the mail today (of course those inexpensive ones you can buy at the store don't run continuously - which is what we needed.) We are wondering if Gray is a light sleeper and is woken up my outside noise (their room faces the street) and on more than one occasion they have been woken up from a nap after 10 minutes due to the squeaky brakes of the trash truck. Not fun. But more than likely, it is just the fact that Gray likes to cuddle up to a mom during the night - as evidenced by him starting off the night basically sleeping on Leanne (he likes to sleep cheek to cheek!) and ending the night by pressing his head into my back (as he sleeps horizontally in the bed (good thing he is on the lower end of the growth curve.)
