Well, hold off on the distillery or brewery. It looks like it might not be needed. Things are going pretty well around here. We got a full nights sleep on Sunday night and only a brief 2:30am wake up call from Gray last night. Not too bad.
My father says that after reading this blog it sounds like I need Prozac. No, not at all. Sure, there are times when the boys are driving me batty and I am ready to pull my hair out, but there are more times when we are laughing hysterically at their antics. Like Grayson twirling in circles and then falling over dizzy. Or Carter dancing by bopping his head and laughing. They truly are great kids. And we know it.
Leanne says that the blog makes it sounds like she doesn't help. Contrary. Everything we do we do together. Everything from feeding to bathing to diapers to get ready to go out is a team effort. Sure, we could do it alone. And we have. But we have found that things work better if we work as a team. And we do. Raising twins is a family affair.
Right now, Leanne is going through their winter clothes. We're hoping that this crazy 90+ degree weather is coming to an end and we can enjoy fall as it is meant to be. With cool mornings, chilly afternoons, and crisp evenings. Plus, the jeans and sweaters and fleece that comes with it. Now we can head off to the pumpkin patch. (We've not gone since we think that that fall festivals and pictures with pumpkins are best when wearing fall clothes - not shorts and t-shirts and dripping with sweat.)
So, don't worry. I don't need any anti-depression/anti-anxiety medication and Leanne is here too - doing far more than her share. Far more.
