Happy 10 month birthday, boys! We can't believe that it has been 10 months. They've officially been "out" longer than they were "in." Leanne and I spent the day saying things like, "At this time ten months ago today we were in the recovery room/just got to our hospital room/fighting the nurses from giving you formula...."

Carter is still sick. He woke up Wednesday night (about 30 minutes after going to bed - at which point he was fine) with a stuffy nose. It has only gotten worse. His nose is stuffy/runny/red/sore. Poor baby. He's been in a pretty good mood despite feeling so crummy. We were supposed to go to playgroup yesterday, but we didn't want to infect all of the other kiddos, so we had to pass.

Leanne and I did get to go out together for the first time without the boys (well, we have gone to 2 consignment sales. Whoo Hoo.) One of Leanne's co-workers got married this weekend, so we headed to Northern Virginia for a few hours on Saturday afternoon. It was very surreal to be without them. I kept hearing noises in the backseat and would turn around to see who it was. It felt odd to get out of the car and not have to unbuckle a baby. But it was nice to get out and have a bit of 1:1 time.

Here are a couple pictures from this weekend:
Gray - the kid does smile. Really. He does.

Carter - sick or not, he is going to smile.
