Here are the little munchkins having tummy time. I took these last night when both were exhausted, hungry, and I believe right before Carter bathed the bunny in front of him in a nice spit-up bath. Needless to say, they would.not. smile. NO amount of singing or funny noises would elicit a smile from either of them. Oh well.
They love to roll over and look around. However, rolling from tummy to back is a bit problematic and they often get "stuck" in the tummy position!
The newest thing over the past week or so, is Carter's shrieking. It is loud. It is ear splitting. It is funny as heck. He just squeals for minutes at a time. He is just happy as a clam trying out his voice. We keep saying that we'll have to continually say to him, "Carter, please use your inside voice." :) I am going to see if I can get it recorded onto the computer and post it.
Poor Gray doesn't know what to do. Every time he does it Grayson jumps. And after a couple of minutes of it, Gray revolts by letting out his own shriek in the form of a cry. His bottom lip outs out, his face melts, and off he goes.
Grayson's new claim to fame is his desire to be on the move all.of.the.time. He has decided that being in the stroller stinks. He needs to be out and looking around. He needs to bounce and squirm and wiggle. No wonder the kid isn't putting on weight - he is burning calories faster than he can eat 'em. Here he is in the excersaucer this weekend.
