For anyone who knocked on wood or send healthy thoughts our way, keep sending them. We are still in the trenches.

Carter seems to be much better - we only have had to wipe his nose a couple of times every hour (rather than a couple of times every ten minutes) but still has a significant cough. However, it isn't slowing him down at all. :)

Grayson on the other hand is still miserable. He slept in this morning till 10:30 (unheard of) and then lolled around till 11:30 when the Motrin kicked in and then seemed okay. We convinced him (ok, forced) him into the shower to help clear his nose and to get clean (we know we feel better when we are clean) and he declared that he wanted "rice and quessadilla" for lunch. Leanne hadn't been out of the house in 48 hours, so we all went. Once everyone was up from naptime - they were running around and apparently feeling better. We took this opportunity to go to Lowes and Target and by the time we got home, it was evident Grayson was feeling worse than he had all day. His fever shot up again for the first time all day (102.3) and he looked horrible. He actually fell asleep on Leanne while the kids were watching their regular night time shows and rather than wake him, we just left him in our bed. We figure we can keep an eye on him and well, even when he isn't sick, he always ends up in our bed.

We are hoping tomorrow bring relief for Gray and still hoping and praying that we are spared from this illness. So, keep knocking on wood, tossing salt over your shoulder, and sending a few good thoughts our way.
