We had a great weekend last weekend (aside from ridiculously early wake-ups from our children.) Saturday after we took them to Gymboree (their gym class) we came home and put them down for a nap. Our friends Candace and Traci (our M/W afternoon sitter) came over and stayed with the boys while we got out to celebrate Leanne's birthday. We went and had a quick lunch (which is an oxymoron when you have toddlers) and then went to see Juno. We'd been wanting to see this movie, but had resigned that we'd see it on DVD. What a treat to see it in a theater! It was great! We went home and played and then met Jurgen for some Tex-Mex dinner.
And evidently, moms aren't the only suckers in the boys lives (see previous post about buying the vaccuum.) When my mom read that we'd bought Carter a vaccuum, she was sad - she wanted to buy him his first vaccuum and perhaps pass on a lineage of vaccuum affecianados. So she sent a check and now Carter's first vaccuum (that we seem to use a lot more than him!) came from Grammy.
Here are some pictures from this morning. I was trying to get a picture of them together - which is an impossible task - obviously. These are just a couple of the 10 pictures that I took - none of them looking in the same direction at the same time! :)

Grayson hugging Carter. Notice 2 things. 1) Carter's thrilled expression and 2) that Grayons size 6-9 month pants are falling off of him! If we went any smaller, he'd be wearing capris (which is not a cute look for a toddler boy) so for now, we are having to pull the poor kids pants up all the time.
Carter giving Grayson a kiss. Carter is into kissing everything recently. Pictures in his books, him moms, his reflection, his brother... Grayson normally isn't too keen on this. In fact after this first kiss, Grayson kept running from Carter who chased after him with puckered lips. I was sad I dind't get it on video!
