Last weekend had its highs and lows.

Highs:

We got a lot (ie. too many) summer clothes at two consignment sales this weekend. It is hard because we have no idea what size they will be when it starts to get warm or what size they will be in September when it will still be warm. So we just bought every size from 12 months (Gray's current size) to 2T (will Carter be in 2Ts by summer?!?!?!)

When we dropped the kids off at the childcare center at the gym neither cried. They just ran off and played. Of course when we got back, Grayson saw us and he just fell apart (as to say, "oh, damn, I forgot I missed you!" But he was fine as soon as we walked out with him.

The kids were in great moods all day Saturday. Just funny, happy, silly, boys.

We survived Daylight Savings Time with only a slight blip in the boys' schedule. And we seem to have adjusted well.

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary by going to a nice restaurant that doesn't even own highchairs. We were able to talk (about the kids, of course), not have to pick up the floor after we ate, and relax while we ate. It was divine!

Lows:

Grayson is reverting back to his wake-up calls of 9-10pm.

Mealtimes with the boys are less than fun. It often involves us saying, "Sit down please" about 1001 times - followed by, "We do not throw food on the floor." 999 times. We feed, cut, entice, clean-up, and in between eat our meals.

Sunday we were all crabby. Ok, I was crabby - the boys were crabby - Leanne wasn't (well, until she had to deal with the 3 of us!)

Here are a few pictures Mia took of the boys playtime at Gymboree. They love it there - so much to do, see, climb, jump from, and kids to play with!

This is what Carter does when you say, "make a funny face!" Actually he does it any old time - and cracks us up every time.

Grayson loved the brownies and Leanne and Mia made. That child certainly has a sweet tooth.
