The boys turned 3 on May 18. We had a small party at home with a few of their friends and some cake.
In late May/early June they learned how to ride the tricycles they got for their birthday and we made our first serious attempt at potty training. We had 7 wet pairs of underwear in the first hour alone and by the end of the day had 24 pairs of underwear in the wash. Leanne said it was the "worst day" of her life. All we did was take kids to the bathroom and clean up accidents. The only upside, was that it was really nice out and we let the kids play outside in t-shirts and underwear. You'll notice that Gray is riding his trike sans shorts. :)
In July we went to storytime and on a cruise on a pirate ship! The weather was perfect and the kids had a great time!
We also celebrated the 4th of July with our friend Suzanne and her son (and the boys' best friend) Rhyder. Here they are (in matching shirts) at the Takoma Park 4th of July parade. We've been 2 years now and always have fun!
