Last one standing. Again.

The Gods must be laughing at us. We bragged for 18 months about how our kids never got sick. They got a cold or two - but it was short lasting - and Grayson had a couple of ear infections, but he really was no worse for the wear. But this winter...it has been one sickness after another. They've been sick nearly continuously since February. In February it was the stomach flu, then a cold that lingered...and just as we thought we had finally kicked that cold....another one hit - and this one was a doozy. They've been runny nosed, stopped up, and coughing and hacking fools. And because they like to share (yea, right), Leanne got it. And I am still standing.

Hopefully, we are on the tail end of the sickness - because the last 5 nights have been less than stellar in our house. Kids are waking at all hours crying because they can't breathe, coughing till they wake themselves, and are generally miserable. We've been slathering Vicks, giving Motrin, hanging over sippies of water, cuddling, and sleeping less than we'd all like. So send some wellness vibes (that I don't get sick before we leave on our trip and for everyone to be 100% well for the trip) and some sleep vibes.
