Another good weekend with some firsts:

We bought potty chairs this weekend! While they aren't showing any signs of being ready (sad for us since we certainly wouldn't mind ditching the diapers!) we bought potty chairs so they could get accustomed to them. They like to sit on them. For all of 5 seconds - then it is off to something else. We'll work on it - and hopefully by their next birthday we'll be potty trained - or at least a hell of a lot closer! (Boys tend to potty train closer to 3.)

They played in their first mud puddle. After buying potty chairs, we came home and played on the playground (as soon as we turned on our street, Grayson started saying, "PLAY PLAY PLAY" and to him that means on the playground - not in the house. And so even though it rained buckets last night and it was 55 degrees, we went over. They played for awhile before finding the mud puddles beneath the swings. At first Gray ran through, then they both discovered them and were stomping, jumping, splashing with their hands, and having a great time. By the time they were done, they were covered in mud up to their knees - and loving it. They went directly from the playground to being stripped in the garage, to a warm bath. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures since we just thought it would be a typical playground jaunt!
