I am behind in posting. Work and home have been crazy with the holidays. At work, the clinic sponsors a family for the holiday and I coordinate it. This year the family that was selected had 6 kids and 2 adults in the home – so it was quite the undertaking. This morning, I finally got everything delivered (after Leanne and I spent countless hours this week wrapping) only to come to work and find that people had put more stuff in my office. So back on Monday, I’ll go!

And aside from wrapping, we’ve had a couple of kids that are under the weather. Grayson had a fever on Wednesday and they’ve both been taking longer naps than usual and just not being themselves. So, all that to say that this is why I haven’t written about our great weekend with my parents (Papa Page and Grammy.)

They came last Friday and while we were worried that we’d have a lot of ice to contend with, we were lucky and escaped with a teeny bit of rain on Sunday afternoon. My dad and Leanne put together the boys’ cars and we celebrated Christmas with them. The boys received TMX Elmo, Ernie, and Cookie Monster. At first, the boys weren’t so sure about them – but they soon warmed up and now think they are really funny to watch – that is until one of them gets too near them! They didn’t have a chance to ride their cars too much since it rained off and on and was really cold and windy – but it is supposed to be pretty warm this week and hopefully they’ll be feeling better – so they can ride.

It was great seeing them and having them see the boys. The guys were totally fascinated with my mom’s speaking laptop and continually tried to steal it from her.

Here are a few pictures from the weekend. I’ll post more in a separate post.

Unwrapping presents is so much fun!
