Happy Easter!!
The Easter Bunny came to our house last night and left a couple of Easter baskets filled with toys! The boys got DVDs (Happy Feet and Cars), wooden puzzles, and books. Plus, baskets from Papa Page and Grandma with cheddar crackers, juice (that they can enjoy this summer), and money to get the cute kid sized outdoor furniture we spotted last weekend. They have been enjoying Easter books from Nana and Grandaddy for a couple of weeks! Of course their favorite thing was to play with the juice bottles and the green cellophane. Go figure. :)

The Easter Bunny was good about filling the eggs, but not about hiding them. She filled them last night and didn't want to leave them overnight in fear that the pets would find them first. Somehow the morning slipped away and before we knew it, it was time for breakfast, and a morning nap (that we don't want to miss and they actually go down really easily most of the time.) After a good 1.5 hour nap (in which the Easter Bunny and her wife also took a nice long nap too) we got everyone ready and went to our friend Suzanne's parent's house to celebrate with their family. The boys got to try mac and cheese and roasted chicken for the first time! Carter LOVED it and Grayson only wanted to feed himself...meaning that he ate very little. The Easter Bunny did go to Carl and Lucille's house and was nice enough to leave Easter eggs all over the yard - and plenty for Grayson and Carter too! :)
We finished the day with a nap in the car followed by dinner, bath, and playtime. We are now trying to get them down for the night. Well, the first part of it anyway....
